Wir konnten unseren Mietwagen direkt über unser Hotel buchen. Es lief total unkompliziert ab das Auto wurde uns gebracht wir haben eine Vollkaskoversicherung gemacht und hatten keinerlei Probleme. Am Ende haben wir das Auto in die Tiefgarage gestellt und den Autoschlüssel im Hotel zurückgegeben. Da es doch sehr steil auf Madeira ist sollte man das jedoch bei der Autowahl bedenken. ~ Min K

We hired from CarXop through our hotel. The car was delivered to our hotel, the Rep was very helpful as we completed the paperwork and full insurance details. In English, no translation problems. He gave us some great tips on places to visit and driving around the Island safely. Took us to the car, shared the controls and car details. We had an automatic Citreon DS3, well maintained, full tank of fuel on delivery. We had a great time driving around, it took us to all the places we wanted to go, both steep and deep. Easy to park. We refilled fuel and handed keys back to reception for collection after our two days. Easy.... Very competitive pricing vs other companies. Will definitely use them again on any future visits. ~ Phil H

We rented a Clio with automatic transmission for 10 days at the turn of 2025 and 2026 and we had a very good experience. A representative of the company waited for us at the airport and explained everything. The contract was very easy to understand and there was no disturbing small print. Drop off at the airport was super easy. The car was not brand new (2021), and it had almost 100 000 km on it, but it was in very good condition - the company apparently takes good care of their cars, which is welcome. The car was very well equipped and snappy, perfect for Madeiran roads. I'm glad we rented our car at a local business rather than giving our money to some international corporation. ~ Andrzej

Good prices, good delivery/pick-up options and an honest staff. We rented a Renault Clio for a few days in Madeira. Prices were good, the car had plenty of power for steep hills in Madeira (1.0L Turbo). We had a break-in in one of Maradouros parking lots. The thieves stole some cash from my wives' wallet (left the car alone for ±10 minutes). Thieves have damaged the car. I had the insurance covered by my credit card but the damage was evaluated lower than my insurance deductible. I'm used to being scammed on the rental car repair costs so this one surprised me. Definitely choosing CARXOP next time I'm in Madeira. And just take the additional insurance. It's worth it in Madeira. ~ Evaldas Ū

Nous avons loué une voiture via la réception de notre hôtel : véhicule livré à notre chambre, état impeccable, personnel courtois et efficace, coûts raisonnables et sans surprise, 15 mn pour récupérer la voiture et on a laissé les clés pour la récupération. Bár az autó egy órával később érkezett a reptérre, ettől függetlenül teljesen elégedettek voltunk az autóval, ami 5 napig volt nálunk. Semmi gond nem volt vele és az átadás is gyorsan lezajlott, mikor lejárt a bérlés. Although the car arrived at the airport an hour later, we were still completely satisfied with the car, which we had for 5 days. There was no problem with it and the handover was quick when the lease ended. ~ bratoman

Auf Empfehlung vom Hotel ausgewählt und für gut empfunden. Sauberes, gepflegtes Fahrzeug ohne Macken welches direkt zum Hotel gebracht und auch wieder abgeholt wurde. Freundlicher Mitarbeiter ohne den typischen Autoverkäufer Charme. Preislich kaum teurer als bei den anderen Anbietern, hier kann man auf Madeira wohl kaum sparen. Schön auch das die Vollkasko ohne Selbstbeteiligung ist und wirklich alles an Schäden inkludiert. ~ Jörg

Carxop was the car rental recommended by my hotel. I usually arrange my own rental before arrival but this time just wanted a car for 2 or 3 days so left it until we reached Madeira. The rental rates were not the cheapest but all insurances were included and the price was still very reasonable, and the service was impeccable. Car delivered fully sanitised (clingfilm over steering wheel and gear lever and removed by delivery driver on handover). Car delivered to and collected from our hotel with minimal hassle by a very friendly and efficient representative. I can recommend Carxop and I would use again without hesitation. ~ Jon R

Can agree with the previous comments here. Very professional, helpful and kind people I interacted with - not what you are used to at other rental companies! Car was spotless clean and in very good condition. Delivered right to our address, handover was quick and easy with payment on site in cash or by card - no extra deposit for entry level car. The drop off was also at our requested location without any extra charge. The only downside is that their homepage seems to be randomly working or not and even had some issues with receiving their emails as they first landed in the spam folder. ~ David J

Sur le conseil de l 'hotel où nous avons séjourné nous avons loué une voiture pour une journée. La voiture n a plus démarré lorsque nous avons voulu repartir d 'une visite ! J' ai donc appelé et 20 min plus tard on nous changeait la batterie. Ils ont été rapide et efficace ! ~ Vero T

Sehr guter Service bei günstigen Preisen. Auto wurde zum Hotel gebracht und dort auch wieder abgeholt. Wir hatten unterwegs eine Panne, ein Ersatzwagen wurde gebracht und das schadhafte Fahrzeug mitgenommen. Ganz problemlos und unbürokratisch. ~ Stefan O

I've rented a car via Carxop between 11-13 December 2021. First of all, I've been pleasantly surprised that the car was brought punctually and professionally at our accommodation. The process was simple and the person handing over the car was very friendly. I had some complication during my rental period - and it was also a Sunday (12 December) when it happened. I was extremely surprised that someone picked up the phone quickly, calmed me down and was extremely positive and reassuring. I couldn't want more than that as service. More than that, the 2 people I interacted with during my rental period - were genuinely friendly and supportive - it was nothing artificial or training-induced. Upon drop-off - we've left the car directly in the airport - which was very practical and comfortable for us. All in all - a wonderful experience and, believe it or not, they've made our Madeira trip 2x more beautiful than it was - by their friendly style and fast support on that Sunday. Wir haben 2 mal ein Auto über das Hotel dort gebucht. Auto war modern und sauber, wurde zum Hotel gebracht und abgeholt. Abwicklung der Zahlung ging fix und ohne Kaution, da über das Hotel gebucht wurde. ~ TheDude

Nous voulions loué un véhicule pour 4 personnes.Nous avons demandé à la réception de l'hôtel et au vu des tarifs très concurrentiels (en gros 1/2 prix par rapport aux grands loueurs).nous nous sommes décidé pour Carxoo. Le lendemain le véhicule nous a été livré à l'hôtel et surprise nous avons été upgrade (véhicule de classe I au lieu de D) tout en conservant le prix initial. Pas de dépôt de garantie à versé et à la fin de la location vous n'avez qu'à faire le plein et laisser les clés à la réception de l'hôtel.. ~ Patrick B

Second time in Madeira and rented car again from Carxop based on previous good experience. This time needed 7 seater. Car was delivered to apartment exactly as agreed in time. Car was in really good condition despite of high mileage and age. But the best it was good old diesel, what pulled like a tractor everywhere where I wanted. Clutch, brakes, tyres-all were good. I took full insurance when I saw some minor scratches and needed to drop off car at 4 in the morning in airport. ~ Andis

My car showed me, that something was not correct with the tire pressure. I stopped at Carxop and the service staff were so kind and friendly. They helped me directly. They checked the tire pressure of all four tires and showed me to reset the system. This is the act of service we need everywhere! I felt very secure after I leave Carxop. Thanks a lot guys! ~ Mai P

Brilliant service from start to finish. The delivery of the car was on time, the car was clean and fully filled up with gas. It really gave us an opportunity to enjoy the island to the fullest. We also agreed with the office for a different drop-off location with no additional costs. Good value for money, no hidden fees and no deposit needed. We are really thankful for this brilliant service! ~ Matic J

Ich habe über das Hotel bei CARXOP für 3 Tage einen Wagen gemietet und war über alle Maßen zufrieden. Der Wagen wurde ins Hotel gebracht und wieder abgeholt. Die Tankregelung war optimal (voll übernommen und voll zurückzugeben) und in Verbindung damit günstiger als die Angebote, die ich über Billiger Mietwagen erhalten hatte. Zudem war das Auto sehr sauber und die Windschutzscheibe auch innen so gereinigt, dass die Sicht auch bei der Fahrt gegen die Sonne noch gut war. Am meisten hat mich überrascht, dass die Kaution in Höhe von 600 € gar nicht zur Anwendung kam, auch nicht als Vormerkung. ~ Roland H

Best car rental service we’ve ever had — arranged by our hotel, car was delivered at accommodation and taken from there the morning after we finished our tour. Very nice and professional agent, no money blocked from the credit card, insurance at 10 euros/ day covering everything. Entire initial handover process took 15 minutes, at return we left the key at the hotel’s reception. Fantastic! ~ Alexandru E

Bardzo polecam tę wypożyczalnie samochodów. Polecił mi ją hotel w Ponta de Sól i przez hotel wszystko załatwiliśmy. Polecam robić to dużo wcześniej - przy rezerwacji w czerwcu na sierpień nie było już dostępnych samochodów w najniższej i najtańszej klasie. W asortymencie swietne nowe auta. My otrzymaliśmy Seat Arona - klasa C. Samochód był podstawiony pod hotel i tam go zostawiliśmy po wypoczynku (klucze w recepcji). Bardzo konkurencyjne ceny w stosunku do dużych wypożyczalni dostępnych na lotnisku. Dodatkowo za 10 euro pełne ubezpieczenie, więc nie musisz się niczym stresować. Polecam! ~ Agata H

Absolutely amazing car rental on Madeira! We got the car prepared right at the airport in the night. The car was nice and the cost was better than at larger car-rentals! I appreciated that we were not forced to buy additional insurance - but given the Madeira hills and roads I would recommend everyone to take the insurance! :) ~ Vojtěch M

Wir konnten das Auto direkt über das Hotel buchen (Pestana Gardens) und es wurde uns dorthin gebracht und wieder abgeholt. Wir hatten auch erst einen Tag vorher gebucht, aber das war kein Problem. Das Auto war sauber, aber hatte außen einige Macken, was auf Madeira nicht verwunderlich ist. Die Preise sind in Ordnung, aber leider kostet ein weiterer Fahrer extra. Wir hatten auch ursprünglich ein Auto der Klasse C bestellt, aber eins der Klasse B bekommen (Smart For Four). Da es günstiger war, war das jetzt nicht das Problem für uns. Wir hatten dadurch ein Auto mit Automatik, welches uns an den steilsten Hängen nie im Stich gelassen hat. ~ Luisa T
